  - **Chemical Fume Hoods**: Clean benches with chemical fume hood functionality incorporate airflow control and chemical-resistant materials to protect users from exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes.

  - **UV Germicidal Lamps**: Certain clean benches may include UV germicidal lamps to sterilize the work surface and reduce microbial contamination during operation.
